Mercedes has presented a facelift, not only on the A-class, but also the Mercedes B-class. They get mixed updates, but also increased power.
After 20225, according to information, the Mercedes A-class and B-class will no longer be offered to customers. In July, the former was caught on picture when the prototype was out testing on public roads . But now the facelift on both A-class and B-class is here.
The Mercedes A-class is available both as a hatchback and sedan, while the Mercedes B-class is a sport tourer for those who have a more active life. Both models have received new grills, new colors and also updated lines on the body. In addition, there are new 19-inch rims for both A- and B-classes.
Nowadays, all A- and B-class variants with gasoline engines are mile hybrids with 48-volt electrical systems. They also have seven or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions. The cars have a combined starter motor/generator that recovers energy during braking and can provide a boost of up to 10 kW (13 horsepower).
The A-Class is also offered as an AMG version
The plug-in hybrids A 250 e and B 250 e have a petrol engine of 163 horsepower (120 kW) and are assisted by a battery of 15.6 kWh. It in turn helps an electric motor of 109 horsepower (80 kW). The system output is thus 218 horsepower and 450 Nm. The battery can be charged with up to 11 kW AC and up to 24 kW with DC. The range of pure electricity is between 6.7 and 7.7 miles.
In the passenger compartment there are two displays, which are experienced as a single, wide widescreen screen. The MBUX infotainment system has been significantly updated and can also handle many voice commands without the driver having to give an activation phrase. It also has a voice assistant that can help with various things.
As before, the A-Class also comes in an AMG version . Both the sedan and hatchback are released as the Mercedes AMG A 35 4Matic with 306 horsepower. The hatchback is offered as the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ with 421 horsepower and is capable of 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h.
