It is the fourth model on the Mercedes electric car platform: the Mercedes EQE SUV. The electric SUV comes in three different designs, and has a range of up to 59 miles.
Last fall, the electric E-Class was launched in the form of the Mercedes EQE. Now the German automaker has introduced the fourth model on its new electric car platform in the form of the new EQE Suv.
The model basically has the same technical solutions as the sedan version of the EQE. This means it can be had with MBUX Hyper Screen and many other safety and driver assistance systems. Despite its length of 486 centimeters, Mercedes believes that it is much more compact and agile than you would expect from an SUV, thanks to a steerable rear axle.
The SUV version of the EQE is available with a number of features unique to the SUV model. Among other things, an advanced off-road driving mode, but also air suspension that makes it possible to raise the ground clearance by three centimeters.
The top version: 410 horsepower and a range of up to 54.7 miles
The EQE SUV will initially be available in three versions. The base model EQE 350+ is rear-wheel drive and generates 293 horsepower (215 kW) and 565 Nm. According to WLTP, it has a range of between 48 and 59 miles. The four-wheel drive version EQE 350 4MATIC has the same power, but with a torque of 765 Nm. The range is instead between 45.9 and 55.8 miles.
The top version EQE 500 4MATIC instead delivers 410 horsepower and 858 Nm. The range is stated to be between 46 and 54.7 miles. AMG has also revealed that it will release two performance versions: EQE 43 4MATIC with 476 horsepower (350 kW) and EQE 53 4MATIC+ with AMG Dynamic plus package and boost function of 687 horsepower (505 kW). The torque is between 858 and 1,000 Nm.
The new EQE will be able to be charged with 11 kW with AC charging as standard, but it is also possible to get 22 kW. The DC charge is 170 kW. The four-wheel drive version of the model also has a towing weight of 1,800 kilograms.
